If you have $47, are between the ages of 18-22, and have some patience you are eligible to fly to most major cities in the eastern half of the United States. Welcome to Air Tran's X-Fares Standby Program. Take advantage of it before you get any older.

• You will not be able to check your bag but you will be able to carry on a small bag.
• You must arrive one hour before departure of the flight.
• Bring a photo ID with you.
• This is a standby program and you do not have a guaranteed seat.
• Each segment cost $47. A segment is one take off and landing.
• No travel on Fridays or Sundays.
• Check for blackout dates.
• You must pay with cash or credit card plus any taxes due at the gate. If you are paying with cash you must have correct change.
